Remembrance Day provides an important opportunity for cadets to participate in commemorative activities within their schools and communities. Accordingly, permission is only granted for cadets to wear their cadet uniform when participating in appropriate Remembrance Day events and activities. This authority is not intended to permit routine wear of the cadet uniform to school or elsewhere simply because it is Remembrance Day. The intent is to support meaningful cadet participation in Remembrance Day or commemorative observances while wearing the uniform.
Cadets wanting to wear their uniform to school Remembrance Ceremonies must complete the online form to record their participation in uniform at their school ceremony. Parents are advised that this is a school event and not supervised by Squadron staff. Parents are responsible for their children during these school activities.
